My joy was sitting and photographing them.

Then the varmits came - same ones you have and the ground squirrels starting burrowing into the ground as the gophers were burrowing out. What a mess. Holes all over the areas we have grass. We are trying to sell the house so I had to stop feeding the birds.

I really miss them.

Next place we move hopefully I can feed them again.sandyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03307968128182359860noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6520893128143413982.post-85794631743974416832010-12-16T17:14:06.092-08:002010-12-16T17:14:06.092-08:00I think your ground squirrels are the same critter...I think your ground squirrels are the same critters we came to know in Wyoming as "chiselers." I suppose one could find a degree of appreciation in watching most of these little animals--as long as they aren't being destructive and invasive--a very big "if."Morning's Minionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01912356455981434029noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6520893128143413982.post-65019492682699656542010-12-16T09:38:46.653-08:002010-12-16T09:38:46.653-08:00Ow wow, love this post.
