I'm Still Here

Sorry for the few days of silence.  My sister is visiting, so we have been doing a little galivanting around, but more than that I have picked up a bug -- not the catching kind I think, but I'm  struggling to maintain activity.  So, although I have been able to visit and comment a little, an intelligent post is more than I want to do at the moment.
Two comments that have dominated conversations in the week that Kaybee has been here are-
1  Oh, you're sisters!  I would never have guessed! (Said with a grin).
2. Sorry we couldn't come up with some better weather for you.  (There has been a cold wind and clouds until today, but temps in the 50's and 60's.  Kaybee thinks we are all spoiled.  Their weather is still below freezing.)

So do YOU think we are sisters?
(I'll be back blogging again soon.  I've got some good photos coming up).

Hi Chris and Kay ~~ The picture is so cute, I wish I could have been in the picture too. Maybe next time.

Chris, Julie is still in the hospital, fighting fever and infection, so they can't remove the kidney stone until that clears up. So we're praying for that to clear up soon. I'm keeping the boys, so that would have also have kept me from visit you and your sis.

God knows...so I'm OK with that. Julie needs me now.

The real question is, who do you think is the younger of the two of us?!

Identical twins more like!

Does your sister still live in England?

Very alike I agree!

Just to let you know that of course you can copy the Dartmoor gateway on the top of my blog. It's near Seven Lords' Lands - I will have to get my Crossing's Guide to Dartmoor out and let you know which Tor you are looking at over the gate.

Yes Chris - I was going to ask Weaver's question - does she?

Same smiles and same chins for sure, Chris. So glad you two are having a good time and I sure hope and pray that your bug goes away pronto!

These types of photographs are so important, not only for you but for generations to come. A delightful family picture - two peas in a pod!

Although there is a strong family likeness, the youngest sister looks rather more like their mother did at a similar age.

Hope you're feeling better real soon. Yes, I can see you two look a lot a like. Glad you had a nice visit. I had only one sister, she passed away about 28 years ago from breast cancer.

Hope you feel better soon, Chris. You and your sister do look alike - you're taller.

Terrific picture of the two of you. What precious memories.
Hope you get rid of the bug quickly. So many people I know, including my family have had it too.
hang in there, it will go away.
