INCHIES ON MONDAY

The subject this week for Inchies on Monday is GLASS.  Since I draw my Inchies this is a hard subject for me.  Glass is not easy to portray.  However my interpretation is here:

The best glass of lemonade I EVER had was a couple of years ago when I went to the river with my son.  It was 106 degrees and we spent the afternoon on the boat and swimming in the river. We had plenty of food, snacks and drinks all afternoon and when the afternoon was over we went for dinner.  I ordered a lemonade and it tasted WONDERFUL!!  I have never tasted lemonade that tasted so good. Of course it was just ordinary lemonade. I must have been more dehydrated than I realized!!

Sounds like it was a good glass of lemonade. And your depiction of glass is excellent. Well done!

Looking at that, I now feel quite thirsty, I think we have some lemons in the fridge....
Lemonade means something different in America. Here if you ask for lemonade in a bar you will get a fizzy drink that would come under the heading of soda in the USA. In the USA, it usually means a homemade drink made from real lemons. Two great nations divided by a single language.

Isn't it amazing what you can create on an inchie?! You've done this really well, ChrisJ - very 'glassy' !!

This does look refreshing. I was introduced to a "Arnold Palmer" at a Sunday Brunch at the Golf Club, half ice tea, and half lemonade. It was quite refreshing too. When our friends ordered an "Arnold Palmer" I was surprised, as I know they don't drink, but usually named drinks like that have alcohol. Good for you Arnold!!!

Drawing glass is very difficult I think.
Drinking a lemonade after a sunny day at a lake or river is wonderful!

Lovely colours, but my favourite is the same as yours - the sparrows on the fence.

I don't use Blogger, but I had a quick look and it says that photos are stored on the sister site, Picasa. There is up to 1Gb of free storage, but it also says that photos up to 2048x2048 pixels and videos up to 15 minutes do NOT count towards that limit. I don't think you are uploading high resolution images are you?

Alternatively, you might want to look at a service like Flickr which has a free 300Mb monthly limit.
