'JASMINE'S SPECIAL NEEDS

For my praying friends...my niece, 'Jasmine', Kaybee's daughter, needs our prayers.  She was taken to the emergency room a week ago after suffering a seizure, (she's 45 years old) and has been having numerous seizures daily since then.  All tests have come back normal and no diagnosis is available.   They're trying various medicines but nothing seems to be working, in fact they seem to be giving her more problems than helping.  We've just had word that she is having a rough night. Please pray for her.  Pray for encouragement and comfort for Kaybee.

It's been a difficult week.  Haley is not progressing well either.  Another flare-up and now she is back to square one. Much prayer needed there too.

Then of course, minuscule in proportion, there has been Scruffy's sudden demise.

We know and believe that God is good all the time and this is not just blind belief.  These things we know and believe from past experiences.  God is greater than we can ever comprehend and His plans for us are great and good -- for 'Jasmine' and Haley too.   He has His reasons and one day we will know why and be able to praise Him for His unsearchable knowledge and wisdom.

"He has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel."
2 Timothy 1:10b

That is so frightening for your family, I hope they get it sorted out soon. I know you didn't want any comments, but my condolences on Scruffy's passing.

You sisters are having a worrying and upsetting time between you. Just to let you know we are hoping for the best for DOTH and Haley and Kaybee too, who must be suffering badly. I hope she is taking care of herself, it can be exhausting caring for someone when they are in hospital. It is easy to stop caring for yourself and end up ill too. Wishing you all all the very best outcomes.

I just joined Michael's Creative Tuesdays and read your comment you sent to him. I am very sorry to hear you and your family are going through a tough time. Your attitude is great, knowing God is in control.
Blessings to you and your family,

You, Haley, Kaybee, Jasmine, and indeed, all of the family, are in my thoughts. I continue to send love and energy, and I do take comfort in your faith. It is so very strong.

There was an interview last night with Normon Doidge on CBC. His research on the brain is, at the very least, interesting. I am going to order his latest book on my Kindle. Whenever a scientist feels he has the answer to pretty much everything, my warning alerts go into action, but there's another part of me that feels this man is onto something. I'll have a better idea, though, after reading his book. Here's the link to his Wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norman_Doidge

I feel so bad for Jasmine, and Haley. Many years after Jill's horrific car accident, she developed seizures. They did many tests and the only conclusion was it was NOT epilepsy. She had been on medication now for years, that has stopped them as long as she stays on them. BTW she is Jasmine's age.

Know how hard it is to miss Scruffy too.

Saying prayers. Love your testimony for the Lord in this post. We don't always understand the bad things that happen in our lives...but God is in CONTROL. We take comfort in that.

At least I knew what was wrong (sort of) and they fixed it. Not knowing what it is and where it comes from must be so scary! Hope they find out soon what it is and how they can treat it.

And very sorry to hear about Scruffy. It's never easy losing a family member, be they human or feline!

Thinking of you!
