M IS FOR MARVELOUS, MICROWAVED, MELTED, MARSHMALLOW S'MORES

This is about the extent of my cooking skills:

INGREDIENTS:

 STEP ONE
Place two crackers of your choice on a paper plate.  They can be graham crackers but but they have to be large enough to accommodate one puffed marshmallow.  I like these which are a Safeway brand (like the Carr's brand,) because they have a slight salty taste. Also since these are whole wheat they are HEALTHY!  HA! (That's meant to be funny!)

STEP TWO
This is the hard part. Place some Toll House chocolate chips on the two crackers and carry carefully to the microwave oven.  Bet you can't do it without some rolling off!

 STEP THREE
Microwave them for about 30 seconds, depending on your microwave power - or until the chips are just getting soft.

STEP FOUR

Squish one marshmallow on each cracker.

STEP FIVE
Mine are straight from the fridge and are cold, so I give them 10 seconds in the microwave....

Pause to let the puff settle down a little then give them 6 seconds more...

until they look something like this.

STEP SIX
Top with another cracker and gently squish.

MESSY BUT MUNCHALICIOUS!

WEDNESDAY'S WORD
Last week instead of a word, I gave you almost a sermon, so this week I am simply posting a couple of verses from the book of Isaiah which my Bible Study Group and I are studying.  But they are such GOOD words to really give some thought to.

Seek the Lord while he may be found.  Call upon Him while He is near.  (Is. 55:6)

"My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways says the Lord" (Is. 55:8)

"I,  even I, am the Lord, and besides me there is no savior." (Is. 43:11)
God said it, not me.

Oh my...I haven't had a S'More in years. I find myself wondering at how those taste with the darker chocolate (you used semi-sweet morsels?) and non-graham cracker crackers! Hmmm...

Absolutely great verses, Chris!

OH. MY. GOODNESS. If that didn't make my mouth water, what will!!

Gotta try that - but with whole wheat crackers? Never! If you're going to be that sinful, might as well go whole hog!

I never thought of using a cracker! How clever! I will have to find some gluten free crackers and try this. It looks superlishus!

Mmmmmm! Those DO look delicious! Now, I want some, but I have no suitable crackers, no chocolate chips and no marshmallows! I do have a microwave though. LOL!

I'd love you to visit my blog, but it's down at the moment because the server was hacked. Should be back tomorrow. Fingers crossed!

Chris I buy crackers so I can put cheese on them but if my wife finds them they are usually disappear. No hiding place is safe.

That looks yummy, Chris !
The first time I went to America, we went for camping in Wasatch Mountains and I ate some marshmallows broiled on fire.

To answer your question on my Ajax Soap post, no the YFC was in Stockton, CA. We were there a year, and then the Lord called us to a little Community Church in Oro Grande, CA near Victorville. We were there 6 years.

YFC played a bill roll in my teenage years, as we had a big club on campus, and Rallies every Sat. night.
