He/She is beautiful, Chris! Not at all like our Canadian Cardinal that's red all over, with black around the face. We haven't seen many this winter, but I hear them early every morning -- the male and female each with their own unique call. They probably don't like the snow -- can't blame them!
I was noticing just how grey my hair is this morning...then I come to your post, and you remind me I use to be a brillant redhead with this Red Crested Cardinal!!
