J is for ...

JackieEvancho
Another Susan Boyle moment!
I happened upon this a couple of weeks ago while surfing TV.  I don't usually watch American Idol or America's Got Talent, but I hit this event at just the right moment.  Please listen, it will knock your socks off!

I'm taking the risk that many bloggers haven't already seen this, so I apologize if it is old hat, but it's certainly worth listening to again and again...and again... It almost brought me to tears because she is such an unspoilt child and not in the least proud of her talent.  What a sweet heart!  If you liked this (providing blogger cooperates), go over to You Tube and see and hear her singing with Sarah Brightman.

That's my J for today.  She's worth any others I might find..

As I don't watch any TV for the last six years, this was new to me, impressive indeed.

Please have a good Wednesday.

What an amazing voice. Its hard to believe it can be so mature. Its too bad she came in second, but she has many years ahead of her. Thanks for sharing Chris.

I watched the final and saw her singing with Sarah Brightman. What a duet that was! Great post for J!

It was new hat to me - I never watch that kind of show. having said that - it was an impressive performance with an impressive voice from someone apparently so young.

Good choice for J. I've seen it too but there's something so angelic about her, it's not a bore at all.

She certainly is talented. I hope she doesn't become one of those too wise for her years children using big words and big phrases and not having a childhood anymore!

Beautiful voice in a really sweet child. I hope she gets really good advice to look after and maintain her voice and to continue to keep her feet on the ground.
