In the Midst of Rejoicing, there is Grief

Even as we are preparing for a joyful Christmas season, we have received news this evening from one of our best blogging friends, Jose,  from "Joe Cool" and "Arizona -  but its a Dry Heat", blogs.  His beautiful wife of 28 years passed away unexpectedly, early Wednesday morning, from a heart attack.   Those who visit my blog and are committed Christians, I do ask you to pray for him and his lovely family.  I feel so sad for them all, but we as Christians know there are much better things to come.  In the mean time, Jose needs us to surround him with prayer to get through this very difficult time.

How very sad. All the more poignant at this time of year. My thoughts are with Jose. x

I am so sorry. Jose and his family are in my prayers. I know the presence and the love of Jesus will bear him up at this time.

Prayers and good thoughts. How strange is the network of "beleivers" that we so often find ourselves holding up in prayer those we will never meet. It is somehow comforting--an unseen army of those who may have differing interpretations, but all have the core belief of a Savior.

Chris Thank you for sharing Jose and his family need for prayer at this so sad time. Only Jesus can heal and comfort a broken heart.

I got another email today from Janice, another blogger and artist friend, she tells me her son 36 passed last week with a massive heart attack.... In this world you will have trouble... But I have overcome the world...said Jesus.

Prayers for both these wonderful friends.
