...I am taking a break from blogging, in honor of the 81 or more hostages who were so brutally and savagely, mutilated and tortured to death in Algeria.
I cannot go back to my blog and witter on about my doodles, tangles and inchies and the trivialities of my life while evil of this magnitude runs rampant in our world.
I need time to think and pray.
(I wasn't blogging in 9/11)

I hear you and I understand.
A favorite verse of mine is Philippians 4:8 which may be helpful.
Maybe more of us should do that. Love your honest and deep faith. Thank you for the reminder of where we need to put our priorities. Love you.
Every one of us are put on this world to die, only God alone knows when and how. The only thing more inevitable than death is life. Life goes on and we should celebrate this. More people die each day from domestic violence, car accidents and crime than all the hostage events in the world. Domestic violence is often years of torture for the victim, maybe we should be taking more notice of these. Mourn and comment, but don’t hide. Events like this are needless and terrible but they only add a few more names to the daily death toll happening all around us all the time. Every single needless death is just as great a tragedy for those close to the deceased, whether they died in a massacre or a single event.
Dreadful stuff Chris - torment for those who survived and those who didn't. xxxx
Snafu: Not hiding, just reflecting and thinking about priorities. I'm a doer, even a fighter (not physical), but I think before, or if, I act.
Remember that today is making tomorrow's history.
