More Peruvian Adventures

Don't want to bore you with more vacation photos, but I have picked out a few more which are perhaps a little out of the ordinary and hopefully of interest.

A real volcano with smoke coming out. (That's not clouds).

Iguanas in the park.  This was in a plaza in Lima, Peru, in which dozens of real live, large iguanas live. People feed them so naturally they stay around.  I didn't take a chance on petting them.  I don't think they bite unless provoked, but they do carry salmonella disease.

Then there was the wild life in the cabin....!

I love this one -- a sleeping sloth.  There was a different one made from folded towels in our cabin every night.  Very creative!

The divers at Acapulco (look between the two rock faces.)

The Adagio Strings -- four very pretty and talented Ukranian young ladies who played every evening.

Whoops!  Whatever could this be???  Cream teas, every afternoon at 3:00 p.m?
(Well not every afternoon).

How about a multi-colored Peruvian canine?

Well you get the idea!  Between us we had over 800 pictures and there are so many more I could have shown -- like Incan ruins, Mexican dancing spectacular buildings   -- and so on.

But enough!

Still looking for a letter U for tomorrow.

Oh my, Chris ~ What wonderful pictures. And those "wild" animals in your cabin...too funny!!!

Just love that tea time. I would love to have tasted those pastries and had tea with lots of cream and sugar.

I won't tire of your pictures, so keep them coming.

Great photos Chris! I have a few pics of those "wild animals" you found in your cabin.

And I agree with Wanda ... keep the pictures coming!

Great photos! I think a cream tea every day is quite reasonable ha ha! Love the towels too :)

Fabulous! So many joys to choose from. I really like the towel 'sculptures' - very clever and most unusual.

And I used to think that nicely folded napkins that stood by your place were clever, but those towels are something else.
The diving is spectacular with several guys waiting for their turn at different heights. Really cool to catch a diver in flight. Certainly not getting bored yet, keep them coming.

Hi Chris, I followed you over from Beechmast. I enjoyed browsing your Blog.
That dog looks like he would fit right in here in Glastonbury :-D

Oh Chris, they knew you were coming, didn't they -- cream teas? I am so envious!

I, too, love the cabin wildlife, and well done, Snafu, for noticing those divers at different levels - totally missed them the first time I looked.

These colorful photos are refreshing to view while our landscape is settling into winter doldrums.
Cruises have such wonderful food--the time we took one the teas were my favorite meal.
