K is for KOALA
This photo taken about 4 years ago, and yes, that is a real Koala. We were in Queensland, Australia on our way home from a conference. How could I pass up such an opportunity? Trouble is I got all of about 5 seconds before they whisked him on to the next person.
I've been trying all day to post this video clip -- literally. It is of my favorite music group, THE KING'S SINGERS a British acapella sextet that is truly brilliant. They sing everything from very serious to the Beatles and the Beach Boys. The solution to posting it was very simple really, if I'd read the directions. If you like their music visit You Tube, there are a lot of pieces on there -- some fun ones too.
I love it! What a fun capture! And perfect for the K day! Hope you have a wonderful week -- well, what's left of it!!
Ohhh, how wonderful!! what a great opportunity and cute shot.
K is for Kalanchoe
What a shame you could only cuddle the koala for a few seconds. Mind you, he does look quite heavy ;-)
Dors is currently working on a koala piece and this immediately brought her koala portrait to mind. They are so cute, aren't they? I find myself feeling bad for this little guy though, being handed off from person to person. I hope he wasn't scared.
I didn't know The King's Singers still existed. I seem to remember them from way back.
All the best to both of you!
What wonderful little creatures Koalas are! I wonder if he enjoyed being passed around from person to person? He looks very sweet!
I enjoyed the King's Singers, too. But now they mentioned a Beatles song at the end and it was cut off, so I have to run over to YouTube. See what you did? LOL!
On behalf of the team, thanks for taking part in ABC Wednesday this week! :)
Kuddly koala - did he smell like eucalyptus?
How fun even if it was for a very short time. I remember these singers great talent.
Love your picture with the Koala! What a cute shot.
Love acapella......Thanks for sharing!
BTW I left you a comment in my comments ~~~ had a chuckle at yours.
Love the picture too. And the koala reminds me of those little critters from the movie Gremlins. lol Wow how cool that you have traveled, me my travels consist of Arizona to Cali and back .
I wrote the word Koala in my post about K.
He seems very fine in your arms.
He is cute.
As soon as the people in this house get up, I will be able to turn up the volume and listen to this group. Have a wonderful day.
Love your K's, Chris!
Love the King's Singers too, but this is a new group of men that I've not seen before. Sorry, but I can't help thinking that the man to the far right looks like Mr. Bean!! (British comedian, for those who don't know him).
