Earthquake??

I'm going on record with my earthquake theory about which my family teases me unmercifully.  Whenever there is a substantial earthquake in Chile, we see one in Central America and then one in Southern California within a  day or two.  The 7.2 one we had at  Easter last year was preceded by one in Chile. I've been watching this pattern for several years. By Southern California I mean anywhere from a hundred miles south of the Mexican border all the way up to just past Pasadena.

Well, they've just had a large earthquake in Chile again.  So I'm going to stock up on food.  Nothing scientific or supernatural here, just my observations.  We shall see.  Feel free to laugh if it doesn't happen.  We will laugh too being glad it didn't!

Chris totally put stock in what you are saying. I follow the Earthquake boards over at Earthboppin and they often talk of the P103 line...who knows, maybe it runs through so cal...

I also believe in body symptoms and sensitivity before a quake. I find it an interesting phenomenon to read about when others post their symptoms.

Earthboppin.net I think is the board I check into at.

they have a subforum called
earth groans...that is for predicting quakes through body symptoms...

The quakes do seem to follow patterns, though many disagree. I'm glad we don't have many quakes now that we live in the upper Sacramento Valley.
After living on the fault line in Pacifica for 41 years its nice to be out of that.

I'm not laughing..sounds totally reasonable to me. Funny thing is, I was working on my ABC Wed. "E" since I will be very busy next week, and my E's are Eyewitness News and Earthquakes... So there you go!!!

I don't even want to think about it, I freak out each time the ground shake, rattle and roll.

Interesting theory, Chris. Glad you will be prepared and hope you stay safe!

Fortunately we don't have to worry about this kind of thing too much over here. At least you will be prepared if the worse happens. Take care!
