Creative Tuesday -- Forest

Our theme this week , for which we have been actually given three weeks is FOREST.  I like having a couple of weeks to think about my interpretation before I actually come up with a picture.

So this is my Creative Tuesday submission for  FOREST.  Quite traditional of course, because that is how I am I guess.  The ant at the front was going to be the main figure in a forest of grass, but as you can see the picture evolved quite differently.

The Ant and Fox. Now, that would make a good name for a pub!

Chris, you do such beautiful work with your Prisma pencils. Just love the detail and shading you get. I think the ant and fox is so cute. I know the Disney movie "The Fox and the Hound", but now we have The Fox and the Ant".

I like this a lot Chris!

Cute ant in the foreground and sweet deer.

We actually have a fire up here today/tonight. It's at the east end of town at Lone Pine Canyon and we are at the west end about a mile away. Should be fine. We drove out a little bit again to see what was happening and I do have to say fires at night are beautiful. As long as they don't hurt or injure anyone or their property or the poor little forest animals like your deer or ant.

You have really captured the feel of a forest. It makes me want to walk along that path. Beautifully coloured trees as well.
