WHAT AM I MISSING ?

Fall is almost over and winter creeps on.  We really don't get fall down here in San Diego, But look what I am missing....

A spectacular photograph taken this week by my youngest son,  on the street where they live in Boise!
Maybe I do miss fall after all!

How could you not miss autumn? (Mind you - you've managed to leave Flamborough, so you must have a lot of willpower!)

All our leaves were blown away before the beautiful colors arrived. That photo is stunning! I have missed fall this year, and now , "baby, it's cold outside!"

Fall is beautiful, but it heralds the season I like the least.

There are always compensations for what you miss; there's a downside to leaf fall - slipperiness . . . :-)

Fall is a beautiful time of year, but if you are allergic to dust and mold, it's also a bad time for the ones that suffer.

We saw some very pretty trees along the interstate, but right here in our neighbor, not too many. Now most trees around here are getting pretty bare looking.

Have a great Sunday.

That looks beautiful. I have seen those sights in several places this year, but never seem to have my camera with me (and before you ask: no, I can't take photos with my phone).

That must be one of the very few down sides of living in a really great climate. But as several commenters have said, nice as it is, it is the prelude to cold weather, with ice and snow on the roads and pavements - that is, ‘sidewalks’ for those not from the UK.

We traveled to Idaho Falls frequently for supplies during our Wyoming years. So much of the state is truly beautiful.

what a beautiful photograph - we have colors like that up here and we visited Bend recently and loved the colors.
