ART CHALLENGE #3 plus One

This is the original from Sandy's Art Challenge #3 (click this link).

This is my effort. Hmmmm. Not very good. It was hard to do.

This is much better. A copy of a Flamborough fishing cobble off Flamborough Head. Very near and dear to my heart. Copied from a post card.

I like very much the first drawing but the second one is very beautiful. It seems we are wathing a true scene of fishing. I love all the details about seagulls, the color of the sea and the shy and the cliff.
I love very much this drawing.

I admire people who can draw and paint. You did a wonderful job on these pictures!

You have all done really well with the challenge! I would think that one would have been really hard to capture. But I am new to your blog, so I will have a look around to see some more of your work. Have a great day!

The beauty of a painting or a drawing is that it's supposed to be a rendition not a photo of the subject. Your renditions captivate me time and time again. You really can draw and on top of that you do it in miniature.

Nice job...and I didn't realize you would have done it in miniature if I hadn't seen the comment just above! I enjoyed looking over your other artwork too!

I love them both, Chris! OH, if only I could do anywhere near the same!

Most interesting. You seem to have placed the details in all the right spots.

I really like your rendition of the girl on the beach! Is that pastels you did it in? I dabbled in paint, drawaing, etc but was never too good with pastels. I am a "inside the lives" kinda person.
Happy Friday!
